BVFD’s New Water Storage Tank Revealed

Weβre proud to announce the completion of our new 30,000-gallon water storage tank installation project at the Belmont Volunteer Fire Department. This project was possible thanks to the support of our community and the generous Power-Up Grant from GVEC! π¨βπ
This new tank replaces the smaller aging and leaking tank we had been using for many years, and it also includes a powerful new 500 GPM pump to help refill our trucks quickly and efficiently. Itβs a major step forward in improving fire suppression capabilities across the western portion of Gonzales County. π
We extend our deepest thanks to the following partners for making this possible:
- Precinct 3 Commissioner
- Roy Staton and Crew β for expert pad and drainage work
- Gonzales County ESD #2 β for ongoing support
- Joey Carizales β for hauling rock and sand
- Harding Pump & Supply β for donating fittings for the new pump
- BNM Electric, LLC β for getting everything powered up and online
A special thank-you to GVEC for awarding us the Power-Up Grant that made this possible. And a big shout-out to Chief Schauer and Captain Burkhart for their dedication and leadership throughout this project.
Weβre grateful for every helping hand. This is what true community can accomplish! πͺ
